Snow White and The Huntsman

 This is the second recent installment of the Brothers Grimm ancient fairy tale about Snow White. However, these two adaptations were made by different set of producers and director; still the two are far behind the success of the original book. This time Rupert Sanders the director of the movie decided not to go far away from the plot of the earlier film; however, this one is much darker and far crueler. The cast is more captivating but Kristen Stewart’s performance leaves much to be desired. As ususal, a cruel queen performed by beautiful Sharlize Theron, lives in a huge castle which is situated on the highest mountain and torments the entire kingdom. Every night her powerful slave darkness comes to the kingdom and covers every little corner of the territory belonging to the Queen. Everything is then reflected in the Queen magical mirror. She sees everything and has the power over everything; however, only one young girl lives her own independent life – her name’s Snow White. The Queen sends her brave huntsman to kill the girl, but the latter falls in love with the Snow White and the Great War comes forth.
